MACS provides 24/7 supported housing for young people leaving care who are aged between 16 and 21.
Housing workers support young people to build the skills and confidence to maintain their own homes. Young people will receive individualised support based on support planning ongoing assessment / review and keeping safe were appropriate. Young people can live with us for up to 2 years before moving into the community.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Criteria 1
- 1 years’ experience of working with young people
Or
- Degree in Social Work, Youth and Community Work or similar
- 6 months experience of working with young people
Criteria 2
- Experience of assessing risk and safety planning in order to keep young people safe
Criteria 3
- Experience of assessing need and support planning for young people
Criteria 4
- A full current driving license and access to a car is required to be able to meet the requirements of the post in full

- Experience of working in a supported housing or similar environment
