Exciting new addition to our existing Lisburn Service – MACS will open a new supported Housing Service in partnership with South Eastern Trust, Fold Housing and Supporting People.

Lisburn Floating Support and Housing provides supported housing for nine young people leaving care. This will include; three care leavers, four young people who have experienced homelessness and two 16/17 year olds who are currently homeless (10 days UNOCINI assessment accommodation). We support young people to build the skills and confidence to maintain their own homes.

The role of an Integrated Worker is to provide a range of interventions to assist young people aged 16-25 to access and/or maintain their own accommodation. The worker will work across both Floating Support and Housing Services.

Staff Practice to a casework model which emphasises ongoing assessment, support planning and working with young people to keep safe. Young people live with us for up to two years before moving on to their own tenancy in the community.
