More Than Meals
Red Box Kitchen Supporting Young People Through MACS

At MACS, partnerships with local businesses help us provide practical support for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Red Box Kitchen has been supporting MACS for a number of years, providing a weekly supply of meals for the young people we work with. This support is incredibly valued and often vital, especially when a young person drops in hungry, needs support at short notice, or is attending a key meeting and we can help make sure they leave with food and one less thing to worry about.
We spoke to Joggy Dhillon, owner of Red Box Kitchen, about why supporting young people matters to them, and why businesses have such an important role to play in creating positive change.
Can you tell us a bit about Red Box Kitchen and what you do?
Red Box Kitchen delivers healthy, freshly prepared meals and snacks straight to your door across the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
Our meals are designed for convenience without compromising on quality, ready to heat and eat in the oven, air fryer, or microwave. We’re all about helping people save time, eat healthier, and making good food part of everyday life.
What made you want to support MACS and young people experiencing homelessness?
Supporting MACS was important to us because access to basic needs like nutritious food and stability shouldn’t be a challenge for any young person.
Partnering with MACS allows us to use what we do best to support young people who are facing incredibly challenging circumstances, and to be part of a wider effort to create positive change.
From your perspective, why is support like this so important?
Strong communities are built when businesses and charities work together.
Organisations like MACS provide essential frontline support, and when businesses step in alongside them, it helps extend that impact further, making sure more young people can access the help they need, when they need it.
What difference do you hope your support makes to the young people we work with?
We hope our involvement helps in a practical way by supporting access to nutritious meals, while also raising awareness of the challenges young people face. Just as importantly, we want to show that businesses are invested in their communities and committed to making a difference.
What would you say to other businesses thinking about getting involved?
Getting involved is a simple but powerful way to give back. Whether it’s through products, services, or fundraising, businesses can play a meaningful role in supporting organisations like MACS and helping change lives in their local communities.
