What initially drew me to MACS as an employer was their clear ability to be able to always prioritise the needs of the young people but also be very supportive to and encourage the wellbeing of staff.
I instantly loved working for MACS. I could be myself with no pressure to change anything about myself. I like wearing hats and shorts, and have lots of ink. This was never questioned in MACS, like it had been in other similar job roles.
MACS appreciates everyone’s individuality and that there isn’t just one set of skills or a type of person that works for this job role, all you need is to be is passionate about making a difference working with young people. One of my favourite things is being able to bring my dogs to work which the young people absolutely love. MACS are worth taking a chance on.
