We’re excited to exhibit at Skills Northern Ireland in the Titanic Exhibition Centre on 7-8 November.
Skills Northern Ireland is an extraordinary careers, jobs, skills and apprenticeship event, which gives young people the opportunity to explore future skills and get work ready through a number of interactive and inspiring learning experiences. Visitors will be encouraged to make informed decisions based on impartial information and advice about their future, which will enable them to visualise their career path.
This is a free two-day event, sponsored by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks, aimed at ensuring 14-19 year olds get the best possible start to their careers, whether they choose to go on to college/university or embark on an apprenticeship, choosing the right career is the first step to determining what further learning they need to get there.
If you are a parent/carer of a young person aged 14-19, you are invited to come along to the event too. As an exhibitor at the event, we look forward to seeing many of our staff and their children exploring the future skills they will need to thrive in their chosen career.
All the exhibitors are keen to attract your child’s attention and will show them what a career is like in their shoes. The engaging activities will let you explore the vast career options available; you can meet employers offering work experience, our Apprentice Ambassadors who will be able to talk you through their career journey so far, universities, colleges, training providers and even the Departments for the Economy’s Careers Service, who can help answer any questions about how to achieve their career goals.
Please come along and say hello!
