We had an amazing meeting yesterday with Jacqui and Damian from Carillion and Pete from The Bytes Project about opportunities for our young people and future partnerships.
Carillion have open apprenticeship opportunities in Plumbing and Joinery and in their HR/Call Centre areas.
These opportunities start in the new year with tasters in each job environment to help young people discover what they like to do. Selected young people will be transported to and from their homes to Carillion and will be assigned a mentor on-site, giving confidence and understanding of what is expected.
The Bytes Project have also come on board offering a wide range of opportunities in personal development, employability and training opportunities. Exciting opportunities for the future!
