Friday, 26 August was a very special day for us at MACS. Due to covid, our amazing young people have been deprived of their yearly Org Day.
Org Day is an opportunity for all our young people, staff, volunteers and board members to get together to celebrate all that is MACS and boy, did we celebrate! It was a day of everything from mechanical bulls to bungee runs with icecream, bbq and goodie bags. Incredible organisations like OutsideIn and LUSH UK (Belfast) provided everything from baseball caps to bath bombs to really treat our young people, and Tesco Newtownbreda Extra provided the bevvies.
Everyone left well fed and with a smile on their faces. Org day reminded us what makes MACS great and the friendships that were made were an added bonus. Thank you to all that shopped, planned and attended. We are already excited for Org Day 2023.
