Last month, we did our annual Sleep Out to help raise awareness of our campaign to #EndYouthHomelessness.
On the night, a lady approached staff ready to sleep out as she had seen the posters in the park about the event. She hadn’t registered online but paid her fee on the night along with a donation.
She explained that she felt very strongly about the issue as she had once been homeless herself and now had a wonderful home of her own. The following week she dropped in to our offices on the Ormeau Road and left in these beautifully crafted miniatures of her old home and her new one.
A great inspiration to anyone who believes there is no end to homelessness.?
