My volunteering experience was really amazing, I enjoyed it and felt supported throughout. Even though we were in the middle of a pandemic, that didn’t stop myself and my young person from having fun and coming up with new ideas for activities over zoom. I saw such a change in my young person over those 12 weeks and that was so heart-warming. I also learned alot about myself as well, developed new skills and gained a lot more confidence.
