Led By You Social Enterprise Initiative
We are MACS Supporting Children and Young People, and we provide support services to young people who have experienced care, homelessness or risk of homelessness, mental health issues or are at risk of suicide and self-harm in the Belfast, South Eastern and Southern Health and Social Care Trust areas.
We’re asking for your support for our Led By You Social Enterprise Initiative project working with disadvantaged young people aged 16-25 aimed at developing leadership and management skills. Young people will create a social enterprise where they will develop a basic understanding of the principles of business and commerce.
Funding will allow us to work with up to 24 disadvantaged young people to develop their social enterprise project. The funding will be used to develop workshops and think-tanks with external agencies to help young people develop ideas and grow their initiative to learn practical skills in business, commerce and project management.
